“Serbian Knife” is a Belarusian band formed in exile in Warsaw in 2022. The name was conceived as a symbol of senseless brutality and violence — a reference to the Balkan wars of the early 1990s — and serves as an artistic metaphor rather than an ideological statement.
Their music lies at the intersection of post-punk, post-hardcore, and experimental post-rock: dark, atmospheric soundscapes blend with strong emotional intensity and lyrics about violence, faith, human nature, and the experience of exile.
